Vocal rehearsal revision for July 17

Hi all! I would like to add songs 3 and 28 to the vocal rehearsal on July 17. That is for rehearsal groups 4 and 25. Sorry for the change, but as we spend time together I am better able to schedule practice. I understand if you have made plans to not be available on this date, but hope that you do come if you are in town. Thanks.

December 7 Evening Performance

Just a reminder that the Marshall Medical Center Party is also this night.  We usually do not have a performance that evening to avoid parking issues.  Marshall is expecting 700 guest this year . . .

Attention All actors: Character Worksheet Deadline Change

 --   DEADLINE CHANGES  --  
 On Les Mis Character Worksheets

After some reflection, I think it best to stagger deadlines for your homework and backstory on your characters.  So, here's the new deal !  Remember these are DEADLINES, so you are encouraged to give/send them to me before the deadline.  (I used to dream . . .)

~ If you are a lead   -  your deadline is SEPTEMBER 1st.
~ If you are one of Thenardier's Gang - your  deadline is SEPTEMBER 10TH.
~  If you are a Student, your deadline is
    SEPTEMBER 20TH.
~  All others (officers, chain gang, warders, constables, the poor, factory       workers, sailors, whotes, pimps, drinkers, wedding Guests, etc) are due SEPTEMBER 30th. 

Ensemble members NEED only turn in one character sheet although you may appear as different characters in different scenes.  So only one of your characters must be interpreted in depth; however, if you wish to do backstory/bio work on any of your other characters as well, I welcome them.  The more prep you do, the more you will feel an identity on stage when you walk the boards.

Costume Sizes Needed

Hi all cast members! 

 

I will be filling out a Costume Size Chart for every Cast member.  Please be prepared to provide your pant/shirt/shoe/dress sizes.  I will be taking everyone aside during rehearsals to fill out your individual charts and take your measurements if needed. Some items are specific to women or men. (Men I DO NOT need your pantyhose sizes! LOL).

Thanks to the  Bush family at Madrona who shared generously their space, wine, hospitality with warmth and style.  Much gratitude to Peter and Karen and Lanny for putting this all together and IT! for the food, drinks and all of everything else.
It was fun mingling amongst the trees and meeting cast mates' families and friends, learning new names of our large Les Mis family and just spending time together.
            God on High - it was a great afternoon!

Hi all! Our vocal rehearsals are going great. I am pleased with how you are enthusiastic, and taking your job of embracing this music seriously. I think that you sound wonderful for the short time we have spent together! For those of you not at rehearsal tonight, Peter let us know that Karen has offered to record short individual parts which might be giving you challenge. I appreciate this, as I know that those of you who would like a bit of help do, too. For help, email or blog to Karen your name, and specific sections of which songs. Use your page numbers and rehearsal letters so she can hone in on the needed measures. We are building a foundation for a very memorable show!
